Since 1989, Architectural Tiles Solutions has grown to become a benchmark of excellence in the building materials sector. It began as a representative of Spanish manufacturers and, following rapid growth, expanded to other countries in 1995, eventually starting the production of its own tiles. Today, ATS operates globally, serving markets in Australia, Europe, the United States, the Caribbean, and Africa. As a family-owned business, it stands out by offering a wide range of high-quality materials, including tiles and bathroom furniture, while fostering close, personalized relationships to meet the unique needs of each project.

The founder arrives in South Africa, starting in the market as a commercial agent for major Spanish ceramic brands.
1990
Changes in South Africa's import regulations enable the free importation of ceramics.
1991
Market consolidation with over 50 clients in South Africa and Namibia.
1992 - 1995
Representation of more than 18 Spanish and Turkish brands in the regional market.
1995
Opening of the Spanish headquarters in Castellón de la Plana, Valencian Community.
1996
Entry into the Chinese market with Spanish ceramic products.
1997 - 2004
Expansion into markets in Southern Africa, West Africa, East Africa, and Latin America.
2005
Opening of the office in Foshan, Guangdong, South China.
2007
Opening of the office in Abuja, Nigeria.
2008 - 2009
Expansion into African, Latin American, and Southern European markets.
2010
Expansion into the Australian market and rebranding to ATS Architectural Tiles Solutions (formerly ATS Africa Trading and Shipping).
2011
Entry into the façade projects market with Turkish porcelain in Spain and Italy.
2012
Consolidation in the market as a specialized company for construction finish projects and products.
2013 - 2024
Established as a specialized supplier working closely with architects and interior and exterior designers.
2024
Expansion into new European markets, including Scandinavia and Switzerland, solidifying the company’s presence in key regions and strengthening its global reach.
